About me

My name is Manu Munoz-Herrera. I am Postdoctoral Associate at the Social Science division at NYU Abu Dhabi.

My research interests are a combination of theoretical and experimental social sciences. I study how social and economic relations are formed, maintained and broken, and the effect they have on welfare. In particular, I am interested in understanding how individual characteristics facilitate or limit the establishment of ties in networks. I am also interested in understanding how affective/emotional ties promote cooperation or lead to inefficient outcomes.
